ARAI CK-6 Helmet

Arai CK-6 has been specifically designed to meet the Snell-FIA CMH 2007 (child motorsport helmet) approval. This approval has the goal of lowering the weight of helmets being used for junior racers whose neck muscles are not sufficiently strong enough to support the higher weights of adult helmets. By working closely with the FIA and Snell foundation Arai has not only developed the CK-6 but has also been able to introduce its first ever extra extra small (XXS) size.

The design of the Arai CK-6 junior kart helmet incorporates many of the features seen on the professional motorsport range and includes a unique 4 point inlet/outlet venting system with a dual chin vent, a washable coolmax material inner lining and a lightweight 2mm visor with tear off posts and the new advanced visor pivot system seen on the GP series.

Designed specifically for junior kart racers who are too small to comfortably fit and/or support the weight of an adult model SK-6 karting helmet.

SHELL MATERIAL – SRC

Superior Resin, developed and formulated in-house at Arai, dramatically improves the bonding properties of standard fibers allowing the use of less material for reduced weight and lower cost.

REMOVABLE CHEEK PADS

Removable/Replaceable cheek pads, in optional sizes, allow for custom fit if needed. Easily removable 5mm top layer of foam allows for further custom fitting.

LARGE EYEPORT

Wide & tall eye port for an exceptional field of view.

VENTILATION

Large intake vent toggles for easier operation. Large rear vents for improved ventilation. Features taken directly from the GP-6PED.

NEW CHINBAR

Newly sculpted chin bar and ridge along lower edge of shell to improve structural integrity. Provides a stronger shell near the opening where it is needed as well as lowers the Center of Gravity. Rise in shell above the shoulders for added clearance.
