And when you run ball bearing disc brakes, you can match them with Avid`s Speed Dial levers for sweet, adjustable modulation.
The Ball Bearing 5 offers Avid’s Tri-Align Caliper Positioning System, tool-free pad replacement, a melt-forged body and an inboard pad adjustment knob. One try and you’ll wonder if the BB5s are really entry-level brakes.
Tri-Align Caliper Positioning System
Another original Avid technology making your life better-there’s never been an easier brake to install and adjust. With Avid’s Tri-AlignCaliper Positioning System, aligning the caliper to the rotor literally takes seconds. Just loosen the CPS bolts a little, and then squeeze the brake lever while re-tightening the bolts. Perfect caliper alignment-just like that.
The caliper can be used for both as front- or rear brake! The brake is compatible with all V-brake levers. Perfect functionality is ensured by using Avid Speed Dial levers for sweet, adjustable modulation to match your riding style.
