OEM Toyota – Fits 1958 – 1/75 FJ40/45/55 Check the condition of your existing contacts. If they are excessively worn, burned, or pitted, they should be replaced. Generally, when material transfer between the contacts has reached 0.020″ or more, it’s time to replace the points. – Sold as an entire assembly, including points base plate. – Gap setting 0.018″ *Note: When you replace a set of points, always replace the condenser at the same time. Search SKU: 553-107 *Tech Tip – When you change the point gap, you will have also changed the ignition timing, therefore, when adjusting or replacing points, you will also need to adjust the ignition timing.
