The IPD 996 Turbo 74mm Competition Plenum is specifically designed for seriously modified Turbos aiming for maximum performance, with a proven track record on builds developing over 600 horsepower. This isn’t a direct replacement for stock vehicles but a targeted upgrade that helps high-horsepower applications realize their full potential.
The increased air flow and air speed provided by the larger plenum are designed to work in synergy with other significant modifications, such as larger turbos, intercoolers, and high-flow Y-pipes. This combination allows for a substantial increase in power and a more linear power curve.
