Rennsport Muffler, the ultimate solution to the cracking, breaking, and blowout issues prevalent in OEM GT3 mufflers, especially the titanium versions found on GT3RS models. Fabspeed Motorsport Engineers have designed a primary muffler replacement that not only resolves these durability concerns but also significantly improves upon the OEM design in multiple measurable aspects.

Drawing on over 30 years of air-cooled and water-cooled Porsche expertise, we optimized the valve-open tubing diameter to 2.75 inches (70mm), the ideal size for GT3 engines to achieve low restriction while maintaining high velocity and the signature high-RPM GT3 CUP car sound. We then integrated our signature investment-cast 70mm (2.75″) X-pipe for optimal exhaust scavenging and maximum volumetric efficiency. This X-pipe merges the two cylinder banks without introducing any restriction to the exhaust flow.

To preserve the desirable exhaust note and drone-free characteristics of the factory muffler, we meticulously replicated Porsche’s 7-chamber design. This ensures a completely drone-free experience, even when paired with cat-less race headers. For the ultimate emissions-compliant lightweight GT3 exhaust, combine our Rennsport Muffler with GT3 headers featuring catalytic converters or Fabspeed headers with HJS German EPA-approved catalytic converters, along with Fabspeed GT3 Side Muffler Bypass Pipes.

POWER:
On our 991.1 GT3RS test vehicle, when paired with our Side Muffler Bypass Pipes, the Rennsport Muffler delivered an impressive gain of 27 lb-ft of torque down low at 3,200 RPM. Across the mid-range from 2,900 RPM to 5,700 RPM, it provided a consistent increase of 12 horsepower or more, with peak power at the wheels increasing from 446 to 454. This translates to a gain of over 12 horsepower at the crank achieved simply by replacing the fragile and restrictive OEM Porsche muffler with the robust Rennsport Muffler.
