Introducing the TrackTec Valved Bypass Exhaust System, engineered to deliver a dynamic auditory experience. This system offers two distinct sound profiles: a refined sporty tone, characteristic of our esteemed Maxflo Exhaust, and a raw, race-inspired roar, accessible at the activation of integrated muffler bypass valves located on the left and right inlet pipes.
Developed by Fabspeed Motorsport USA, this innovative design was initially perfected on the 2016 Porsche 3.8L GT4, with its proven technology subsequently applied to the 987.2 platform. The TrackTec system features HELICAL U.K. aerospace-grade exhaust valves, ensuring reliability across all Fabspeed valvetronic systems.
With the valves closed, the system produces the familiar, sophisticated sound of the Maxflo mufflers, providing an agreeable sound level without unwanted resonance. Upon activation of the factory Sport button or an optional Fabspeed valve controller, exhaust gases are directed through unrestricted 48mm (1.875″) dump tubes, bypassing the mufflers to generate a pronounced burble and crackle during throttle application and a powerful roar at optimal volume levels. This configuration yields an approximate increase of 15 whp and 19 ft-lbs of torque at 4000 RPM.
