Valvetronic Exhaust System for Porsche 987.2 Boxster / Cayman / Cayman R / Spyder
Fabspeed Motorsport USA Valvetronic Exhaust System offers the best of both worlds: a versatile range between mild and aggressive exhaust tones, coupled with maximum performance and a high-quality sports car sound. Specifically designed for the 2nd generation Porsche Boxster and Cayman (987.2 models), this system is the ultimate cat-back exhaust solution. Featuring pioneering anti-resonance technology, it ensures a more enjoyable driving experience while delivering dyno-verified maximum torque and horsepower.
SOUND:
This premium cat-back valvetronic exhaust system provides two distinct sound profiles based on the valve position: a refined, milder tone when the valves are closed and an exhilarating, aggressive roar when open. With a simple press of the factory Sport button or the included Fabspeed valve controller remote, the exhaust flows freely through the open valves, unleashing the glorious sound of the 987.2’s flat-six engine. Expect abundant burbles and backfires, and downshifts that produce a captivating “bark.”
POWER:
The addition of Fabspeed’s Valvetronic Exhaust System resulted in peak gains of 14 HP at the crank and 10 ft-lbs of torque peak (12 ft-lbs at the crank).
