The combined protection is available in three executions. In the Race-version a tyre is protected by all around SnakeSkin and RaceGuard (under the tread). Touring tyres are protected by SnakeSkin on the sidewalls and high density V-Guard is beneath the tread. ” Plus” – tyres combine a layer of GreenGuard under the tread and SnakeSkin on the sidewalls.
E-Bike Ready 50:
For standard pedelecs with pedal assistance up to 25 km/h, legislators require no specific tyres to be used. However, loads and average speeds of these bicycles are higher than that of normal bicycles. Therefore, Schwalbe recommends only certain tyres as ” E-bike ready” (all Marathon, all Energizer, Big Apple, Big Ben and Smart Sam Plus tyres).
