Skunk2 Racing High-Lift Lost Motion Assembly (LMA) Kits for the Honda B and H Series VTEC engines are direct replacements for factory lost motion assemblies. The function of the LMA is to keep the center VTEC rocker in the proper position when it is not engaged, and to provide additional spring force to control the added weight off the rocker assembly when it is engaged.
When installing aftermarket camshafts Skunk2 recommends replacing LMA’s as a preventive measure. When using high lift camshafts, Factory LMAs may bind and wear down the VTEC lobe. To counter this, Skunk2 Racing designed a spring style High-Lift LMA designed with more travel to accommodate high lift camshafts.

Warranty Info
- Skunk2 Racing warrants all products to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for normal use and service, regardless of mileage, for a period not to exceed 12 months from the original date of retail purchase. Parts returned must be determined by Skunk2 Racing to be defective prior to any warranty credit or replacement is issued. Skunk2 Racing’s obligation under warranty shall be limited to repairing or replacing, at its discretion, any part proven defective. The customer must prepay transportation charges. Final determination of the suitability of the products for the use contemplated by the buyer is the sole responsibility of the buyer.
