The Stinger 3, now configured for dry nitrous use, is the ultimate in 4150-flange nitrous technology. Engineered around the philosophy that nitrous delivery must be application-specific, the Stinger 3 dry plate features a revolutionary extended reach cone. This cone discharges nitrous directly above the intake runner in deep-plenum manifolds, ensuring maximum saturation and distribution of nitrous into the air streamwith no supplemental fuel delivered at the plate.

Design

The Stinger 3 is a single-entry dry nitrous plate designed to flow up to 688 HP. Nitrous discharges horizontally in a 360 pattern from 16 precision ports at the base of the red-anodized cone for optimal integration into the intake charge. The advanced cone geometry ensures thorough atomization and even distribution for all cylinders, with placement specifically for deep-plenum, single-plane 4150 manifolds. Distribution into the engine is dictated by the intake wall height and runner placement.

Construction

Built from 6061 billet aluminum for maximum strength and durability, the plate is 0.75 thick, hard black anodized, with laser-engraved Nitrous Outlet logos and nitrous entry marking. The signature red-anodized extended cone contains 16 nitrous discharge holes (no fuel discharge; for dry nitrous systems). This is a plate only; gaskets, jets, and hardware are not included.

Application

This dry nitrous plate is designed for use with external fuel enrichment. It is intended for intake manifolds with 2-3/4 or more from runner top to carburetor flange, but also works with as little as 2-1/2 deck height as noted above. It fits most 4150 single-plane, carbureted, or EFI intake manifolds.
